A trailer for the Star Trek: DS9 episodes "Favor the Bold" and "Sacrifice of Angels". This was more or less a project to tribute these two amazing episodes, and the result of a treatment of boredom.

  • Amazing!!!

Oh, and I'm just curious, but how DOES the poem end?

  • I dont know, but I cant imagine its a good ending.

  • This is gr8! Gr8 job you should make movie trailers or something for a living. lol

  • I might just do that. If anything, Ill make sure no one else makes trailers for my own movie but me ^^

  • Yes great video! For some reason I've always liked the Dominion or more specifically the Jem'hadar. To be in command of one of those battleships would be awesome. Oh yeah and for some morbid reason I never get tired of seeing the Majestic and Sitak blown away.

  • You are pretty morbid :)

  • This show was much better than it was given credit for.

  • The Star Trek magazine once called DS9 "The best Trek no one has ever heard of". That's pretty much what it is.

  • @Hedgehogs4Me Everyone dies because the commander was foolish is how it ends.

  • @Hedgehogs4Me Cannon to right of them, Cannon to left of them, Cannon behind them Volley'd and thunder'd; Storm'd at with shot and shell, While horse and hero fell, They that had fought so well Came thro' the jaws of Death Back from the mouth of Hell, All that was left of them, Left of six hundred. 6. When can their glory fade? O the wild charge they made! All the world wondered. Honor the charge they made, Honor the Light Brigade, Noble six hundred.

We Trekkies know it was one of the best ;)

  • Really nicely put together and edited. One of the best fan projects I've seen.

  • @adamweishaupt81 DS9 is far and away the best of the Star Trek shows, and quite possibly the best Sci-Fi show ever created.

  • @jzagri The ending of the poem is tragic, just like the Battle Of Balaclava..... It was a disaster and all soldiers mentioned died.

  • @Hedgehogs4Me

They that had fought so well

Came thro' the jaws of Death,

Back from the mouth of Hell,

All that was left of them, Left of six hundred.

  • Wow. I'm not much of a YouTuber, so it takes something seriously worthwhile for me to bother logging in. Words can't describe how impressed I was with this. All those crappy fan-made projects give way for a genuinely good one every so often. This was one of them. I grew up with DS9 and I remember being like ten years old when this aired and getting serious shivers. Probably the best part of what remains a favorite show. They sure don't make 'em like they used to.

  • @Hedgehogs4Me

or google the battle of balaclava, thats better

  • @Hedgehogs4Me

google for the "Charge of the Light Brigade" and you will find out. :)

(Half a league, half a league, Half a league onward, all in the valley of Death, rode the six hundred. 'Forward, the Light Brigade! Charge for the guns' he said: Into the valley of Death, rode the six hundred.)
