Coach Appel is the DB coach at my high school, were 4-1 as a brand new school (Clear Falls, in Texas)

this guy was my hero, i was playing high school ball when he was at A&M. i used to always try to watch A&M on tv when he played just to watch him. the guy was tuf as nails. i remember i hurt my knee my senior year and said to myself no matter how bad it is im gunna play and i thought about jaxson appel and how no matter how bad he was injured he still played full speed. he was a true inspiration to me

I agree. Best safety we've ever had. Jordan Peterson is the only one who really comes close.

I really wish he would've turned pro. It was amazing to watch him. He is easily the best safety Texas A&M has ever had. He is the epitomy of toughness.
