This is a fun and humorous video of 'A Saturday trip to San Pedro', California with my friend Frank. Along the way we provide a mini tour of some of the sites on Ocean Blvd. in downtown Long Beach, the Vincent Thomas Bridge and of San Pedro. We end up shopping at The .99 Store and finish up with having lunch at a favorite Italian eatery before returning home to Long Beach!

  • Seeing Long Beach and San Pedro put me in a good mood. I miss it out there so much. My family has been there since very early 1900's and it is where my heart is. Thanx so much for the fun video. I go to the Ports o call once in a great while. Love it. Nothing like the beach.

  • @nchls69 Glad you enjoyed the video and that it brought back fond memories! Cheers......

  • Nice trip down Ocean Blvd. i lived in Long beach from 1951-62 and the Breakers Hotel used to be called the Wilton Hotel. I would like to see Hughes Middle School in Bixby Knolls, I went to school there in 1959. I am on the other coast now in south Florida.

  • @avgraphicpro Thanks for your comments! I have lived on Ocean Blvd here in Long Beach since 1987 and never get tired of the beach climate! I am sure I would love South Florida as well!

    Cheers...........

  • if u wanna get the best sandwich in the world get the meatball sandwich at busy bee market on 24th and walker it is to die for

  • San Pedro is a very unique, very beautiful city. I'm glad you enjoyed my hometown. A great place to have prime rib or anything that is English is at a restaurant called The Whate & Ale on 7th street downtown. it is owned by my daughter's ex boyfriend's parents who are wonderful people. They serve the best night out food in town, IMHO.

  • So glad you enjoyed it........

  • Thanks for your comment! ....I'm sure we'll be doing another video adventure soon! Stay tuned.......
