@jdaddyNC1 unfortunately people make all types of loads in lots of devices and so why would someone cover a warranty thats been made defective by inappropriate loads and resistances rendering their good product defective, silly nonesense thast why a car dealership doesn't warranty aftermarket parts plain and simple

I cant say anything about 6v but I vape 1 flavor from 4.8 to 5.2 and according to my meter it is spot on. Remember the voltage you set is under no load so to get 4.8 you may have to set it to 5.2, it was built that way as a safety feature. Mine has done everything perfectly and prefer it over my Provari.

The Provari is built like a tank. I have gotten so frustrated trying to set the voltage on mine I have slung it up against the wall, ceiling high at least a dozen times and it still works. Gave mine away. I am pushing 80 and could not get the button combo right to set it.
The Lava Tube VV is simple and easy to set at 4 volt where I like it.

@Kast If you would have bothered to read my other post, you would have seen that I apologized for the rant.

I love how you just threw it so casually.

Lava tube is no where near accurate on voltage you will never get a true 6 volts. im very disappointed with mine. I vape at 6 normally and wanted to step down to 5+. As A wise man says in my opinion a giant waste of money! I've tried duel coil, single coil cartos and different atties no luck. Guess ill save up for a provari

yeah that was prototype got a new one and man so awsome very stoked and please for the pricing the tube tank is a must with 3ohm cartomizer :)
Whoever buys their LavaTube from anywhere other than Volcano E-Cigs is not getting an official LavaTube. The testers have just been sent out and this so called Lava Tube that you see posted here isn't even in the final release phase. Don't get ripped off by buying a cheap imitation.

@smjavar Rather than deleting this comment we felt it best to reply and explain.
Volcano did indeed ask the manufacturer to make the Lavatube and they sent various variable voltage devices to the manufacturer to tear down etc.
As a result of this of course Volcano requested and had granted exclusivity for the product in the USA.
As time has gone on Volcano now appear to be a bit annoyed at the fact that they did not request worldwide exclusivity.
The devices we are selling are genuine.

Can you test if the Lavatubes you have show a similar weirdness?

@redi2003 Hi Redi2003, home made volt meters like the one in the video are not very accurate.
We found the same readings using such a device, however using a multimeter the voltages are correct.
