Do you have to heat the blade with the candle for cutting bath ballistics and bubble bars and such? I am concerned about buying more just because they're so pricey for something you only use once. If I could cut them up into pieces (like in halves or thirds) I wouldn't be so hesitant to buy them, you know? Anyways, thanks for the informative video!

You can try to use your knife at the edge of the table. That way, the cut out of the knife will 'hang' over the edge of the table giving you a smoother cut.

@glintzy there products contain synthetics that are food safe love. and some products you have to have sls whic is a lathering agent but lush only uses 20 percent verses the 80 persent you put in all store boughty soaps

instead of using a candle to warm the knife, run it under really hot water for a minute or two, then wipe off the water with a towel. this is way easier for me. awesome vid!

how are the lush products not necessarily "food safe"?
rawrrawrrawr03 1 year ago 8
@rawrrawrrawr03 Some products contain ingredients that aren't necessarily food grade quality or safe to consume, nor are the products made, shipped or stored in food safe conditions. While they can claim to be "fresh" products they cannot claim to be all natural, and they aren't either. Many of their products contain synthetic ingredients.

@glintzy They have ingredients listed on the website, if you click the ingredient tab instead of the pictures all unnatural and/or synthetic ingredients are listed in black. Some are: Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate which are kind of a big deal for a company that markets itself on being rather natural, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Sodium Stearate, Propylene Glycol and many more.

@funnyAnabell45 I love the Ocean Salt for exfoliating and getting rid of blackheads, helping cell turnover on hyper pigmentation and scars, etc. I would also recommend an oil cleansing routine, just once a week would really help. It cleans down deeper than regular cleansers and when I do it I can feel blackheads come out. It feels like sesame seeds rolling around on your skin until you wash them off lol. I have a video up on how I use olive oil this way, but any skin safe oil is ok.
