The reason for the hot chick, other than the obvious, is to show that even a girl can do it.
I don't like the idea of having to modify new mags for function, but it's not like I'm buying a hundred of 'em.

why not make adjustments to the mould, rather than have people scrape on it with a chisel? You dont see magpul telling you to disassemble their mags and scrape or file parts of it.
