@MrJLaza if you want to play imported games from a different region (in your case if you are from the us that would be japanese and european games) you will either have to modify your console or simply get the dc-x boot disc. by the way, pal is the TV norm used in most european countries while us and Japan use ntsc. the difference during gameplay is the resolution (pal has a few more horizontal lines) and the speed at witch the game runs (ntsc is 60hz, pal only 50hz). check wikipedia for more.
