Interview with 2010 HDSA Iowa City Hoop-A-Thon Co-chair Sean Thompson on KCRG-TV9

On April 11, 2010, the Huntington's Disase Society of America Iowa Chapter held its first Hoop-A-Thon fundraiser in Iowa City. Part of the 2010 Iowa Hoop Tour, the event raised money for Huntington disease research and care with a free-throw shooting contest, silent auction, raffle, Nintendo Wii Tournament sponsored by Best Buy, concessions and more.

In this interview with Anchor Chris Earl that aired Sunday, April 11 on KCRG-TV9 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City Hoop-A-Thon Co-chair Sean Thompson talks about the event, HD and the UI HDSA Center of Excellence.

Thanks to generous donations from shooter sponsors, silent auction donors and a host of other local businesses and individuals that donated money or goods/services, the event raised over $5,000!
