Police in Mau Narok, Njoro district have destroyed a huge haul of bhang, which was being grown within the Mau forex complex.Mau Narok OCS Richard Siele led a contingent of police officers and the Kenya Forest Service rangers to a thicket inside the forest, some 25 kilometres from the Mau Narok trading centre. According to the police, an individual, who has evaded arrest for over two years, was growing the bhang crop. Police later set the crop ablaze. The bhang was being grown on a one-acre piece of land. The day before this swoop, police had stumbled upon yet another quarter-acre of land in which bhang was being grown.
