This is a simple model of The Rocket, a steam driven locomotive made by Robert Stephenson in 1829.

The focus this time was modeling, camera use and animation by using constraints, and mainly the "copy location", "Child of" and "Track to" constraints. I initially had some trouble with the constraints, but I think I pulled it off in the end!

This animation is an assignment from Neal Hirsig's Blender 3D Design Course, but I didn't follow the instructions step by step and I tried to model more after the reference image.

The model consists of 44'957 vertices, 42'999 faces and 30-ish objects, and it took around 4 hours to render the animation.
