Interesting, I was always into Sims as they made the best product.. I met Greg Weaver testing Sims snowboards in Flagstaff AZ in 1986. He was so cool and we shredded the mountain that day.. Tom Sims should be in the skateboard and snowboard hall of fame..

@35sixer Tom Sims doesn't get enough credit. All the Zboys rode for him at one point or another....Peralta rode the Sims Pure Juice wheels without financial compensation when he was on G&S. The other big wigs in the industry have told their own story and over shadowed his contribution.

Have Pealta and Adams been there?

T A is the man! I was 12 years in 1976 and he was my idol along with Tom Sims and the "Weave" Weaver..

Die Posers, DIE! I skated on my 50th Birthday at my favorite bowl...and my 51st...and my 52. Whats a matter TA...to tired to skate? Bwahahha...too much weed? Come on over and we'll burn a fatty and we can skate my favorite bowl...if your up to it.
and @ SyriaGore: Jay was a great skater in his day...but now he's just another dirty old man that knocks up young hotties and ditches them.

how race popped into comments about TA/skateboading defies reasoning..WHO TF CARES? put that energy into your skating and you will be a different person

I had to comment on this one...
TA is half Mexican (his dad's side) his mom is Anglo. The remarks about who's better TA or Jay are also plain stupid. Both guys rip. Can't judge such a subjective thing like skating (surfing, music, art, etc).
TA "didn't sell out" he made a living at skating and Jay has even said that if he had to do it all over he would of taken care of business.
Go back to the valley kook! This isn't romantic, it's reality!
Oh, by-the-way... I'm a light complected Chicano!
