1989 Firebird Formula 350 fresh custom L98, GMMG exhaust and more.

This is how my car now sounds 5-10-09. Just installed a new 355 L98 with 10.5:1, AFR Eliminators, Lloyd Elliot cam (223 230 .535 .535 109LSA) and a TPIS Miniram. Just installed a new McLeod clutch, "Dyno Don" headers and y pipe, and a fresh rebuild on my 9 bolt rear including new bearings, posi cones, and 4.11 gears. This car is not tuned, hence the crap out of the exhaust. I was not able to get video of the dyno runs but the numbers were 370rwhp @ 6200rpm and 350rwtq at 4800 rpm. Not too bad for now :-D

sounds and looks beastly! what kind of rims do you have on it?

@mitzo600r Ronal R15 rims. They're a popular German rim but were sized specifically for the 1992 Firehawk. Since 1992 another run of about 200 sets were made. I'd guess theres less than 300 sets in existence. Commonly referred to as "Firehawk Wheels".

little help, lookin at a 89 ff350 and its got 135k on body and tranny but a 2000 mi tpi 350 no rust to speak of but it has a ding where the right blinker is about the size of a Cd jewel case. He wants 5500.. im think about 3800-4000. what yall think

how do you like your gears? wish you had other ones or anything?

just wondering becuase i have 2.73 in mine and wanna switch to 4.11 or atleast rear end with more low and and acceleration i dont need top speed or MPG

@SpartanD36 scratch that. I blew the dana up because I forgot to put in any damn gear oil!!! I ordered new 4.11 gears and everything is right in the world again lol

@Justinfloogie I think Classic Industries is making them now.Totally screwing up the uniqueness of having a set of these wheels.I have some on my Camaro.In my opinion these wheels are perfect on a third gen Camaro or Firebird.Guess the resale value will decrease now as well.

It makes me so mad thay killed off pontiac.The trans am and firebirds allways had more class than most of what gm was makeing.I have a 89 formula 350 its black with black gta wheels and im swaping a 6.0 from a truck in it.Beats mustangs any day.Nice vid keep pontiac alive.
