A perfect run of the PSP version of Super Stardust Portable, final level/boss!
It sure took a LOT of tries!
Some things I learnt while dying over and over:
0: Segomo is primarily an Ice Splitter level, with a tiny bit of Gold Melter.
1: Things that chase you are the biggest threat
2: The horde gathering behind you is not the biggest threat - it's that wayward guy coming at you from the other direction!
3: Your boost gauge is replenished when the phase ends/starts. So use your boost to ram the End Bomb!
4: Don't wait around for your boost gauge to replenish if there are a bunch of things you want to boost through (like point tokens or a swarm of enemies.) Take note of its position and do a full lap around the planet instead of being a sitting duck!
5: Don't chase after the bomb-ship, trying to knock off its bombs unless you REALLY need them! I would let the End Bomb take out the bomb-ship instead. Some enemies (like those magnetic mines) would take out the bomb-ship for me, and all I would have to do is scoop up the bombs.
6: Don't run directly towards enemies that can shoot at you. You can't shoot down their shots, and worse yet, you won't be able to see their gunfire over your own. Strafe them instead!
7: Destroying BIG asteroids is hazardous work. When you shoot up the big ones, they sometimes chuck pieces in your direction. Don't get too close!
8: If you see a powerup you REALLY need and it is in the middle of a lot of explody crashy stuff, either boost to get it or use a bomb. Firing to clear the way isn't always enough.
9: Remember that those magnetic mines can be used to destroy enemies either on contact or during their chain-reactions of explosions. Lure them into enemies or shoot them when enemies are near them. "Mine Dragging" is even more essential in play modes like Bomber and Impact!
10: Don't get too frustrated! This is a TOUGH game! I died several dozen times over to get that perfect run! Although this is an action shooter, patience and observation will be your greatest assets!

@RumpNissen been too busy drawing - I try not to use my PC for gaming any more. Too much of a time sink.

quite a while since I last heard anything from you. Wondering if you're still in the modding business.
