The lever-action carbine, with a few minor modifications, makes a great defensive weapon for those who live in areas where defensive handguns or AR "black guns" are prohibited. A segment from American Guardian TV on the Outdoor Channel.

  • Understand? “Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” Also, take a trip down to New Orleans, and there's 200 Brit graves. I plan on having a better year without a socialist leader and more guns. Happy New Year.

  • "...those that live in areas where defensive handguns or AR "black guns" are prohibited.", especially if those areas are in the USA,Canada,Australia and the UK, should WAKE THE HELL UP and then GET THEIR ASSES IN GEAR to UNLOAD the political scum that mis-rule them, render them mere subjects and victims in waiting and deny the natural Right of Self Defense as well as common law traditions centuries old and STILL VALID.

    WAKE UP!

    TIME TO RISE!

  • @leftcoaster67 Thanks for that. I'm a leftcoaster as well, Vancouver Island.

  • @yeshua4U A) .357, and .44 are more inexpensive than rifle rounds (At least here in Canada). B) It won't penetrate through 6 houses and you'll have less explaining to the neighbours on why you provided free ventilation for their places.

  • @MrGillby I hope your fire department is on speed dial.

  • I have the marlin 44/70 and 30/30, i have taken many deer with both of these.i know both would be an awesome defense against anything or anyone. they are short, powerful and very fast in the right hands.I can usually have have two hits on their mark at 50 to 100 hundred yards to other experienced shooters one shot on that are using a modern bolt action.i highly recommend these rifles

  • i agree with this vid. but, the neworleans cops went house to house and took peoples guns and told them to leave thier homes those cops violated thier oath to protect and defend the constitution of the united states from enemies forign and demestic. so sad see.

  • I use a Benelli shotgun with Dragons breath shells in it as home defense

  • I honestly never thought about using a lever action for defence against 2 leg creatures. I carry mine in .44 for the hogs. Would work the same I imagine...good excuse to pull it out and keep practicing.

  • Even a light .45 Colt load will slap your shit. Id hate to think what a +P 300 grain JHP would do to a man.

  • @triggerhappynumskull Most people outside the US don't understand the need because they believe that the police will 'protect' you. I don't know about your area, but in my area, it takes Cops and Ambulances, firegighters and the like approximantely 14-18 minutes to arrive at any given location, depending on weather, traffic and time. That's why i have a gun, because you cannot rely on people but yourself.

  • @BWAGG1990 in the uk its not possible to sue against self defense... we have full right to shoot someone if they are endangering us or our property
