¿Y en qué trabajan estas chicas?... Acompañantes, trabajadoras sexuales, showgirls etc etc. Estas "profesiones" que de entrada nos podrían sonar tan estigmatizadas y deplorables, resultan ser bastante comunes cuando se les analiza desde la perspectiva de nuestra protagonista:

"Cuando una mujer quiere que su marido le compre algo, como esposa sabe bien que deberá darle algo a él para poder conseguirlo"...

There is a kind of truth on her comment of how marriages work.

The trick is not letting the partner realise you know what it is they're trying to work towards or to gain from you so that you can set up a scenario in which you would be more agreeable to their desires if they know beforehand what yours are.
