  • That seems to be pretty common among old computers in general. Most old macs have 1904 as a starting point for their clock. on another interesting note, the PS2 my brother got thought it was 2067 when I checked the date. XD

Out of curiosity, how many PS2s do you think will still be functional by then?

  • near none. I think almost every console with moving parts (CDs and HDDs) will eventually brake by themselves.. Even more with the PS2's laser problems.

  • @MrDebauch Yeah, but will a PS5/6 even play PS2 games at this rate?

  • Mmm... the SegaOS

  • Was this only in one language, or was this system multilingual?

  • Seeing autoexec.bat, config.sys and config.bak makes me think about MS-DOS!

  • @Sisound yeah by then even the PS5 or ps6 might not even work... however sega saturn still will. that machine is too awesome to not work, 3do will also still work cause nobody plays those for them to get worn out.

  • wow sega was ahead of its time truthfully i mean game companys can look back at what they did for years to come and steal ideas lol i mean sega had computers online play through dial up backwards compatibility wish they took there time with this stuff we would probably still be getting new consoles from them epic company way ahead of there time

  • @RABBIDGamfan really, when I bought a new gamecube in 2006 it thought it was 2064

  • i want a TeraDrive!!!!!

  • not that many is kind of a stretch. More like just you.

  • An awesome machine... I can't help but think arrogantly; How many other people who have watched this actually own one? I'm betting not that many.
