Watching Pillars Dissolve by Benjamin Woods

Shot on a Canon HV30 in TV mode 60. Auto exposure auto focus. Captured and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4. No color correction, and I speed up the original 1250%. The original tape was 55 minutes long.

This was my first timelapse, so any constructive criticism is appreciated =]

  • I was just sent this video, it's absolutely wonderful. You've managed to capture the essence of this track perfectly. I really enjoy the stationary trees that seem frame this slow and beautiful process. Thanks for using my track! All the best, Ben.

  • Thanks for the kind words! It took me a while to find a song that I thought would fit the video, but when I heard yours I chose it immediately. Thank YOU for creating such enjoyable music, and for allowing people to use it.

  • that's cool Kevin. This is Jacob Tafejian

  • Hey thanks Jacob. I'm doing a sunset timelapse next, and I'm hoping for a summers storm to film in the future. By then I'll have figured out much better settings for my camcorder.
