@slapme7times as a maricopa county inmate they get two meals a day. The first is a sack with moldy bread, unknown meat and rotten fruit. If your lucky you get peanut butter that constantly has insects in it. The evening meal is commonly referred to as slop. No one knows what is in it and it is usually served with over cooked vegetables and hard bread and mashed potatoes. I know this first hand. Many of the people there are awaiting trial and are only guilty of not being able to afford bail.

@yogeedogee Half of the people in jail here in Maricopa County aren't even convicted yet. Haven't been to trial or are there for DUI and other misdemeanors. The government pays for the electricity at the jails and to do this just means that Joe can siphon even more tax dollars into his pockets. He already stole over a hundred million dollars from the budget, how much more does he need?

Sustainable energy! I like it! There are always going to be criminals, so why not save the taxpayers money (electric payments) and help the fat convicts lose weight (health care costs)! Excellent idea!
