hows the drive holding up? i heard there were some issues with this drive along with other sand force controlled drives. please let me know as i am in dyer need of an SSD for my iMac.

@codebraker12 Klik 'het info' on the disk and then you can drag the icon over the existing icon, you can also do this with folders.

could one install 3 SSD's (SSD/normal harddrive/dvd) in the 27 imac and put them in a raid config then?

@eddymunn Can you elaborate or provide link? Im thinking about upgrade my MBP to SSD and I know there was a problem with trim TRIM.

@djglobeone Modern Solid State Drivers do not require TRIM.

did you had any problems with fans and cooling system ? And once installed, did you had to do anything with s.m.a.r.t ? Cos from what i have been reading on the internet, SSD that is to be installed must be s.m.a.r.t varified ( or something ). Do you know anything about this ?
