Just got these two newly 0.75KW 230v 3.3Amp 3-phase motors for roto verter test of hho altenator tests.

This is the simplest roto verter schema, from the 3 phase wires of the motor, two are connector to the AC power source and the third wire is connected to the ac cap(s) other cap side is connected to power source.

Schema suggested 36uF this first test run was with 54uF.
While uploaded tested with 36uF and got 77v 0.1Amp :)

  • What are you trying to do?

Hope you do not think you can get more energy out that you put in since that is impossible.

  • @electrodacus It a simple tank circuit which runs the motor very efficient if you have very low or no load conditions that why if used on dril machine they use very oversized motors.

  • @txqNL tank circuit? never heard about this.

What I see in the video is that you have two motors connected together and one is run as a motor and you added a lot of capacitors to the motors to compensate for the inductive load of the motor.

You use an ampmeter and voltmeter to measure apparent power that is in {VA} and is different from real power.

To calculate real power you need to know the power factor.

Still don't know what do you want to use this for?
