This version of the song is close to the final released mix. However, the backing vocals are mixed much louder with more harmonies than the released version. John's spoken intro is heard much more clearly and right at the end of the song during the fade out the backing vocals sound like the Beatles' song "Girl". John always referred to this song as "the Beatle track" whilst recording this.
I made this video especially to accompany this track. It's largely based on pictures widely available, except for one composite image I created second from the end as a treat!

probably his greatest song ever, so heartfelt and he said he wrote it for Yoko, but that it was also for every woman really. Yoko had nothing to do with the breakup, it was Paul and John fueding and geogre wanting to leave, Ringo getting tired etc. They have their own lives to live however they please, Yoko is as good a woman as you are likely to find, and John found her and was definately staying with her with or without the others or the fans permission, Yoko loved all the Beatles !!
