  • An couple of additional items that can come in very handy in case of emergency: 1. A nylon muzzle. Most dogs don't take kindly to having their injuries poked and prodded. So a nylon muzzle can help keep your injured dog from injuring you!.

    2. Hydrogen Peroxide can also be used to induce vomiting (if Fido eats something that could potentially harm them,) in addition to being a very effective wound cleaner.

    3. KY Jelly or Antibiotic cream can keep the surrounding hair from sticking to a wound!
