@jcbluefunk Well, the title of this video was created by TCelectronics, so it isn't the bassist who says this is his funk playing. I am sure if Uriah wanted to play POW by GCS or a P-funk line, he EASILY could. I know all of those bassists that you mentioned, I have known about them for about 20 years. Larry Graham is great, and maybe he has a stronger pocket than Uriah, maybe.. but Uriah can play everything that Larry can, I am sure. Not necessarily the other way around though. -my 2 cents

@gleventhal check out Larry Graham,BOOTSY, Marvin Isley RIP, Louis Johnson among scores of other real FUNK Bassists and you will see why i say this dude is a lightweight. he is a good musician but his attempts at FUNK have a light feel and lack the heavy bottom that makes FUNK what it is and gets the dance floor bumpin'.
