An Asteroids clone from Team 17. Classic gameplay with great graphics and some new twists. This is also the precursor to Super Stardust HD, available as a downloadable game for the PS3.
The intro is pretty hilarious. Not only does it completely rip off Star Wars with the story scroll, but even the storyline itself is very similar.
I'm pretty terrible at this game, so excuse the poor skills. This only shows three levels of the first area. Each area has a different background, and there are some "tunnel" scenes that aren't shown here.
@ZZombyWooff Yeah, I believe it was Bloodhouse back then.

Not only different music. The level of difficulty was also balanced better. It also had new effect the A1200 Version didn't.

One of the best CD32 games with much better cutscenes, than Microcosm and actually great gameplay. Those were the days..

@sdsti Very true. Slightly more to it. Housemarque are Bloodhouse and Terramarque combined. Terramarque were responsible for the brilliant Elfmania which was a bit like playing Naughts&Crosses with Streetfighter 2. I loved it, though many people didn't!! Also, the CD32 version of Super Stardust looks awesome! I have the A1200 version here, and it has different music!

Team 17 was the publisher. The game was developed by Bloodhouse, now known as Housemarque.

This was a great game with the tunnel sequences in between levels and the sweet 90s trance music! It's too bad Commodore had so many boneheads in marketing and management because they made some killer hardware that was years ahead of anyone else.
