@rockinjac Actually, this song is considered a re-write of the Bob Dylan song since it was such a blatant rip-off of the original (similar melody, many of the same lyrics, and even the same title to top it off). Rod Stewart has to share all royalties from this song with Bob Dylan (who is also credited as one of the writers).

MY SISTER-IN-LAW CATHY LOVED ROD. SHE ATTENDED ALOT OF HIS CONCERTS. IT SADDENS ME TO WRITE THAT SHE DIED AT THE OF 37 YRS. DUE TO CANCER. EVERYTIME I HERE ROD SING IT MAKES ME EMOTIONAL.
