Circus entrepreneur and the "first clown in space", Guy Laliberte has put on a show that was literally out of this world. The space tourist directed a performance dedicated to the problem of water shortages on Earth.

Salt water desalination technology, within 10 yrs of R&D, will not be as expensive as Nuclear power unit start-up, per person receiving the product.
If the world can afford Nuclear power, even Iran, North Korea and Venezuela... then surely we can afford massive desalination projects world-wide for the masses.
Don't worry bro.. IMF and good causes will direct funds soon to supply global fresh water resources.

70% of the earth is covered by water... but 68% of that is salt water... and desalination is expensive and not energy efficient. That gives us 2% to share amongst 7 billion people.
