idk why people dont like these truck or the motors. we had 3 of them. BULLETPROOF! 01(180K) 04(170K still have it) 07(148K just traded for new one) we usually have trucks for 3 or 4 years b/c miles are put on them really fast. take care of these they last. we had no issues with them. so it looks like he uses this one for work. beats it up a bit. yea theres gonna be som paint chips and dings here and there.

@northsiderollers glad you guys have had luck with the 5.4, ours has been pretty much nothing but trouble...CEL is on every other month it seems, valve issues, gasket issues, huge injector problems...it's a headache...I really like the truck aside from that aspect of it...

The paint on this generation F-150s are horrible! My grandparents have had 5 or 6 Fords and never has the paint chipped or faded like my grandfather's 08 F-150 STX
