A girl named Enkeli Lissu messaged me on MySpace asking for sheet music for this piece, however as i learned it by ear, there was none. Although, i was feeling kind and so wrote my own sheet music for my arrangement of the song. I then went to message her back but it wouldn't let me as we are not friends on MySpace. I just noticed that you used the keyboard's transposition tool to lower the scales half a tone didn't you?

I'm guessing you probably learned the song in D before trying to play it with the actual track and then found out that in the original track is played in C#

I'm guessing because that's what happened to me lol...

and looking into the way you play the song i KNOW your using the transposer because everytime you play a D sounds like a C#...

Yep, i did learn it in D, the reason being that i was suddenly told that i had to perform Sankarihauta at a gig three days later, and i knew it would be far easier to learn it in a key i was more familiar with. I'm sure Trollhammer wrote it in D anyway, and just transposed it because of the guitar tuning Moonsorrow play in on that album (C# standard).

That's awesome man. I tried to play it but I don't understand how to transpose it on keyboard. I'm new to piano but I know a bit of theory so I know what is a half-step. Do I just play all the notes a half-step down? If so why not write the correct notes on the sheet?
