  • NVM didn't realize it was a tail dragger, ignore that last comment. Hahaha

  • Was it not because he didn't keep his nose wheel up on the soft field landing, too much speed on the landing the nosewheel dug in and flipped it? It doesn't seem like wind could flip it that bad

  • @pretjim2011 #1 I'm a Pilot. #2, If you encounter windshear, a sudden, strong wind from the rear will reverse the aerodynamics. If you have a tailwind, Elevators up will bring your tail up. Maybe you miss-understood what I had wrote. Elevators Up will only make your nose go Up, if you have the wind coming from the front. Maybe in this video their was Windshear on the Runway. I dont know. The movie doesn't tell us.

  • @LafreniereJ Obviously you do not have a clue about flying! The lifting of the tail is not caused by elevators pointing UP! If they point DOWN, that forces the tailplane UP. Make a paper model and see the effect for yourself. This pilot was flying a 'taildragger' with no nosewheel, so when the brakes were applied too sharply, or it hit a boggy patch on the grass, the whole thing just flipped over. That is why aircraft nowadays are nose wheel steering only - except for a few sports

  • That newscaster is an idiot. I don't think there was any wind nor do I think the pilot was dumb enough to land downwind. I think the ground was too soft. If the tailwind was strong enough to flip the still moving plane it would have had to land at twice or more the speed that it did. She's just talking out Her ass like she's the expert here.

  • @robertwaldo we can get cocaine here in America.

  • It looks to me like the pilot got on the brakes to much. There was no "Magic Wind"

  • @boatmainiac42 people in colombia don't know what a plane is so they use the boxes to show them

  • Fail at 0:04 no gears

but at 0:21 it haves gears :DD

  • lay off the cocaine...
