Both detectors belong to my friend(aka claya91). He was using a bushnell K band radar gun and we did some around-the-bend testing. Not the most scientific testing, and yes I know that running 2 RD's at once can affect performance so don't go screaming at me about that. They weren't that close together so I don't think it mattered too much. And sorry about the camera shaking and moving, it was just sitting on the back headrest because we didn't have a camera man :P

  • Which one do you use?

  • @Visions2Be neither, they both belonged to my friend in the silver altima running the radar gun. He sold the 9500ix like a year ago shortly after this video was made, and he still has the V1.

  • with one is better v1 or escort9500ix

  • @jose8745

raw sensitivity aka better for highway driving + better ramp up and directional arrows = V1

better protection against falses aka better for city driving + GPS features like speedometer and will tell you what frequency band you are getting hit with = 9500ix

Both are 2 of the best RD's on the market. The choice is yours. Just fyi my buddy who owned both of these units sold the ix about a year ago and still runs the V1 to this day.

  • @92ASC quick question... if you were traveling 20mph over the speed limit right there and the 9500ix alerted do you think you could have slowed down atleast 15mph before he saw you/got you on radar? i have a 9500i and sometimes i feel like i should get the V1 haha

  • 1 tire fire

  • Bottom line as with any business. If 2 people sell a product that is a toss up, then customer service should be the driving factor. The V1 customer service is no good. I ordered a V1 and it did not get to my home on time. I called and the lady at V! said I was causing her blood pressure to rise and continued to lecture me. I told her to cancel the order. At a time when people r not plunking down $400 for a toy, they had better learn to b a lot nicer. I am going with the Passport 9500.

  • @92ASC I do most of the speeding on the highway. V1 it is.

  • @malfahad If i were you I would just shut the fuck up and uninstall my computer.

  • @dzprowler the V1 arrow patents expired last february...

  • @clubtc05 they cant cause Valentine has the idea patented, and they don't want competition with an idea they created, besides the ceo is an air force enthusiast, hints the boegy counter.....

  • WoooW... What a nice place you living in!!???????

why do you need to spped in such place!!!???

if I were you I would just drive below the limit speed

  • Just got my v1 and i got to say is awesome i used to run a cobra and it worked ok but it used to warn me right when the pig was in front of me lol.. Any way after a week of research all pointed out that the v1 is the best of the best and i agree
