Southern California earthquake 29 July 2008

Security camera footage from my store during the 5.4 magnitude earthquake on 29 July 2008.

Out of our four cameras set to record when it detects motion, the only camera that saw enough movement was the one pointed at the tactical gear section, and even then, it only recorded about 7 seconds or so.

Oh, and if you're wondering why there's nobody at the shop, we don't open until 3 PM on Tuesdays.

You thought that was strong? I was sitting in my room when everything started shaking. Well, rolling, really. Definitely wasn't that mad. I have a friend that lives IN Chino Hills and the first thing he does after the shaking stopped was go on IM and tell me, "YEE HAW feel that sh**?"

I still remember the 1994 Northridge earthquake, and that was a 6.7. I was 8 years old at the time. Now THAT was a strong quake.

@zuriBqueen15 They say the quake thats gonna be on the San Andreas is gonna be somewhere between 7.9 to 8.9. Shit, sucks be liing on the damn fault. Im by the coast so i get the quake not as bad as you but i get the tsuanmi

When the earthquake hit, we were in Arizona and we were planning to go to DisneyLand with my family. When the news about the earthquake catched to us halfway there, we all went "Shit! What if the close Disney!"
