    You can lock NFC chips with a passcode encryption.

    OK, what's to stop people from loading, or pre-programming those NFC thingies with malicious code/ instructions? I would think before any of these are widely adapted, security protocols would have to be a prerequisite. Also, how to do these differ from RFD, something talked a lot about a decade ago?
