  • im a christian, and im doing well in science class. Does that do any harm to us all?

  • Perhaps you are conflating creationism with Christianity. It isn't Christianity that is at odds with science and scientific progress, creationism is. If you are a creationist and insist that creationism should be taught in schools and the like, then I would have to say yes, it does do harm to us all.

If you are simply a Christian, then I have no quarrel with you.

  • While creationists insist that we are not related to apes, they also want us to discard science and basically live like frightened chimpanzees, terrified of a world we can't understand. Ironic.

  • Have you educated a single intelligent design theorist yet? They're just too stupid to grasp the metaphors.

  • IT IS TIME FOR MANKIND TO COLONISE OTHER FREE WORLDS SO MANKIND IS ABLE TO ESCAPE FROM THEIR FLAT EARTH GOD CONCEPT

  • Vangelis

  • "Debating creationists on the topic of evolution is rather like trying to play chess with a pigeon — it knocks the pieces over, craps on the board, and flies back to its flock to claim victory." -Scott D. Weitzenhoffer

  • Creationism is an intellectual dead-end. The proof of that is the "achievements" of creationist.

No sane nation that wants to compete would commit suicide by destroying the sanctity of its science education.

Unfortunately, America isn't particularly sane. Thank goodness for Obama...

  • Nice

  • That too is true.

However many times 'holy' men have deemed that learning is evil in an attempt to keep things in their control.

Also when scientists say 'thank God' that's just one of those remarks we say & we should take them as a proclamation of who or what they choose to belief in.

  • thats not necessarily true.

the bible isnt against any normal scientific movement. ive heard many say "praise god" after finding new information on varies cases.

the bible does not either say that learning is evil.
