that is not the prayer i will pray. i will pray that God will allow you to see that critizing everything and sticking your nose up in the air at others, will not get you anywhere with Him. He is not impressed. I will pray that God grants you some compassion and love for God's people, like He wants us to do.

Why do you keep giving me thumbs down?

Saying a pizza is good, is praise in a small sense of the word, and you should give God thanks for giving you that pizza.

A full round of applause for someone who just sang a song, is much more praise then saying a pizza taste good.

I would think if the spirit of God was at work, people would be crying, be quiet, and be to themselves and the Lord, there wouldn't be a dry eye in the place.

But whats to be found? A round of applause.

i'm not the one that gave you thumbs down maybe they did cause your being ridiculous. you can think a pizza is good and still thank God for the pizza. geez. and how do you know they are all clapping "oh my gosh michael is so great i worship the ground he walks on" they could be clapping because he is singing about "turning your eyes on jesus". some people just look for excuses to gripe why dont you pay attention to the beautiful song. "saying pizza is good is praise in a small sense" oh gosh.

so if you have ever enjoyed a food or enoyed a song or anything of that sort your not where your supposed to be with God? God sends things like this to us to help us draw closer to him. If you love your family or respect and appreciate them, are you sinning? if thats what you think--i feel sorry for you. I'll keep you in my prayers

say your sitting down eating a pizza, and you think to yourself, "wow, this is pretty good pizza" does that mean your woshiping the pizza? no, it just means you have good taste in food. "c'mon man, that isnt hard to realize"

I am so happy to see your comment. I was also a muslim , I grew up as a muslim. But in summer 2007 everything changed and I felt like HE is calling me. I am a christian now. I see myself and world from a totally different point of view.

I am learning to be content by knowing that there is nothing to loose, he purchased me. Bless you.

Only if people would humble themselves and say Lord, I need you, I am a sinner. I have darkness in my life and I am lonely. I need you. Come into my life, forgive me Lord. Then get into God's word and ask him to reveal it to them. He is coming soon and every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is lord.

To the previous posts: There is mention of praise being in the form of clapping, dancing, singing and any other form of physical demonstration that indicates praise all through out the bible...since when did clapping become soley to honor a person? Why can't it be for Praise to the Wonderful Heavenly Father that gave the blessing that you just heard?

Why is the chorus to this hymn the only part of it that is sung anymore? I think this is terribly sad. The entire hymn is deeply moving and filled with powerful truth! That it has been shrunk down to this fragment of what it should be is extremely unfortunate! A sign of the times. Sad, very sad.

what if they are not clapping at the artitst but to God or to the song. the artist is just an instument. like someone playing a trumpet. we are all instruments of God. and by the way whoever is sinnless cast the first stone. we ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

turn your eyes upon jesus and know that he is lord. When we try to do things our way God will step in and do it his way every time. Wait on the lord. Be still and let God move. Even in the worst of storms and the deepest of valleys turn your eyes upon jesus. God bless us all!
