  • I remember that I travelled 40 km to buy this album. Still great to hear.

  • camelspottergr is right on the money!

It is criminal that the likes of National Health,Hatfields,Egg etc., never recieved the praise and recognition they so dearly deserved.

The dept of every true music lover therefore is priceless to Dave and co.

  • Keith Emerson, Andy Latimer and that bloke above hold an unenviable link. Fringes with long hair...

  • A mile stone! NH plays 30 years before what somebody try to play today.

    Simply great!

  • 7380 views,well expected from great compilations >-<

  • NICe!thanks for post

  • Edinburgh Uni. I'd sent Dave a tape and we bumped into him before the show. Compared to what you are now listening to my music was a pale imitation. Yet Dave examined my hands and was generally charitable about what he'd, in all fairness, not even listened to. Dave had two number ones, but it's his work with Egg that I really like. In Egg the only thing holding him back was himself. Not so in this band.

  • loekie64; I hitched a ride with some friends downtown to buy this on release,... or maybe it was Of Queues And Cures...

memory does not serve quite so well...

  • always in awe when i take time to listent to this album! the musicianship is out of this world by the 70's standards...these guys took progressive rock one step further along with Gilgamesh and Hatfield & The North..

  • In what ever incarnation, National Health, Hatfield, Caravan etc et al, these gentlemen, even still to this day, represent some of the finest musicians this country has ever produced. Their music is without doubt second to none. RIP Pip Pyle.

  • that's insanely cool. I knew "of queues and cures", but not this one. Just unbelievable, and somehow not too cerebral, but still swingin'. Wow
