i know theres a vast array of music that hasnt made it into the mainstream, but this sort of feels like it should have like a million views.

marginally sensitive, very sad.

This song, indeed the album it came from, always reminds me of when I first heard it, in early October 1980. I'd just come back from a week's holiday in Filey, and the weather had turned cold, wet & windy once back in Liverpool. I'd bought the album the day before going away, and so played it for the first time on my return, and nothing was ever the same again. A wonderful song & album.

vini reilly influenced john frusciante's playing. no wonder the beginning of the song reminds of murderers by jf. both dc and jf are amazing!

This song is one of Martin Hannett's most beautiful productions. True masterpiece.

So simple yet so wonderful. Make sure you hear this track on good hifi with plenty of volume - you have to feel the wall of sound ripple thru you till you tingle. This song is a big endorphin rush. Love it.
