can someone please tell me if mRNA nucleotides use phosphodiester bonds to join them, like DNA does.
does RNA polymerase cataylse phosphodiester bonds between ribonucleotides, like how DNA polymerase cataylses phosphodiester bonds between deoxyribonucleotides!!???

when nucleotides bind to each other, they always use the phosphodiester bonds.

@Thedeathknight8 What an awful teacher! (Seriously.) How can she expect you to explain it at all, never mind in a detailed manner, if she has yet to teach you anything about it? What does she think you came to her classroom for? What does she think her role is as a TEACHER in the classroom? Who is PAYING her wage? Pure laziness. I wouldn't be surprised if she has the students do it that way so they can teach HER. I bet she knows less on the subject than she projects to know.
