From the Patria sugar mill, which is a rail museum as well, and Marcelo Salado, a great museum that provides live steam too, and also some diesel ( Narrow gauge, MINAZ ) action. Both locomotives are of the famous Baldwin, U.S.A type, from the early 50´s.

    I think the locos you mention run only when hired for charter groups these days.

    When I was there, March 2011, I travelled with PTG tours ( UK ) who made all the arrangments. The diesels ( old russian ones, the so called MINAZ ( Ministerio Azugar )) now do the necessary work.
