just getting some more trigger time in with the Kimber Custom TLE/RL II. the trigger is starting to feel really good on it. as for the shit slide stop issue i ordered a Wilson Combat bullet proof slide stop with a built in bullet detent. seems to work for people with the same issue.

  • Guys the problem seems to be the SLIDE STOP LEVER. I found this youtube video showing the problem why. Just youtube search this "Kimber Report Part 5/5 - Kimber Custom II TLE/RL" by noBuzzkillin and you will see the problem. Hope it helps and I agree paying $1300 for a handgun along with one crappy magazine is just bs in my book. But I really think this is the best looking 1911 out there...

  • @russb3n yep thats what i tried to fix but i didnt take enough material off. a follow up video will be out as soon as i get out and test out the wilson combat bullet proof slide stop

  • Man that Kimber is sweet!!

    Greetings from Holland.

  • @Gunsfromholland thanks for checking it out man

  • along with the slide stop keep an eye on the extractor cause after 600 to 700 rounds i heard kimber 1911s fail to no end and the cause is the extractor

  • @XBlackXChimeraX i have shot about 1000 through it as of right now. this custom II doesn't have the external extractor that always had issues who knows why they even tried that. but that seems like a low life span 500 rounds and there extractors fail?

  • nice video

  • I don't get these gun companies...... they charge you a ton of money but they don't give you something that works flawlessly out of the box. The best 1911 I ever had was a Springfield Armory and that thing was flawless and it was only $600. The only time I had a problem with the SA was shitty, cheap mags.

  • At least yours didn't put a hole in your leg

  • @S1iccy i love my 1911. the slide lock back issue is a kimber issue when they put the wrong slide stop in. they have recently redone there slide stops so they have a bullet detent on it so the bullets dont rub against it when they feed into the barrel. i tried to fix it by dremeling some material off where it rubs against the bullets. ill do a separate video explaing all of the horse shit. im gettin a Wilson Combat bullet proof slide stop sent that has the detent should fix it for good
