This is a tribute to the thousands of innocents that have died and are still dying thanks to the idiocy and greed for power and money in the political leaders of all countries involved... they alone are to blame.

She's being ironic. She's obviously anti-war, an most probably a supporter of the idea that 9/11 was an inside job, or at least that the government could have done more to prevent it. Either way, her argument is that one disaster lead to the prolonged disaster of warfare and dead soldiers, as righteous as it may seem.

i dont think he means responsible, but reather, that this is what his notions of peace and freedom have become. "freedom" has become a pro-war slogan and "peace" seems to be achievable through spreading hatred and ignorance. hatred of the US has escalated incredibly since the war started and peace is something bush is credited for working against rather than for. our freedom shouldn't come at the cost of other people's freedom but thats what bush would have us believe.
