Wooeeh, guess this one is my favorite (but there is more to come). A lovely and cheerful little country tune, but it's ... way too short ... ;o) !
And for that pick thing, I like to play without because - as the other friend said - it's easier to slip from strumming into a picking mode. But the nail on my first finger is getting shorter and shorter and I have to use a pick sometimes to help it. My nails aren't that hard to withstand such a lot of strumming.

Very nice and impressive sounding song!

I'd be lost without the pick! Nice song, Jeff!

Sounds like your calluses are getting ripped off which does hurt quite a bit. I was born with a rare skin disorder and have to limit my playing time. My fingertips on the left hand get sore as hell after a few hours. I guess we all have our issues to deal with. It is what it is, I guess.
Thanks for the kind words and keep on playing those guitars.

Great..I love getting new videos from you. It always brightens up my day! keep em coming...
Beautiful ! I'm with you on the pick thing. I don't use one cuz I always keep dropping it. Plus, on a bunch of tunes it helps that I can slip from the strumming mode right into fingerpicking mode. I would love a YouTube of Seasons of Growing, just you and your guitar.

Thanks John. I've attempted a few videos for Seasons of Growing but it hasn't worked out. I'll give it another try someday.
