Hmm, I was a kid at the time of these scenes, yet when I see this video something becomes obvious: In the golden age of wrestling, several of the chatacters were able to touch me deeply on a emotional level. That just does'nt happen today. The saga of Savage/Elisabeth made people cry, it was very touching and engaging. Todays "storylines" lasts for a few weeks at most. I miss this side of wrestling so much, where wrestlers had such characters that there was a continuity for years and years....

@trainer305 whILE i hope that was true it wont, it'll be like Eddie and Bret in 2006, a dead person can't really headlline which sucks.

Savage and Liz together HOF 2012..Only problem is they have to take a backseat to The Rock. Don't get me wrong, Rocky deserves to headline in his hometown, but Savage should of gone in decades ago.

@garethac81 Wow...that was very well said. I consider that era as The Golden Age of Wrestling as well. I had a huge crush on Elizabeth when I was 12 back in 1987-88. She's simply the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.

Too bad, she died because of dickwad Lex Luger. She and Macho Man were perfect together. i remember watching Randy's proposal to her. It was a magical moment.

@PUNKem733 because they r soulmates he was born 8 years earlier in 1952 and Elizabeth was born in 1960. She passed away in 2003 and Randy just passed in 2011 8 years later. I'm into numbers associated with events Elizabeth 05+01+20+03= 29 Randy 05+20+20+11= 56. 29+56= '85
