I bought this trick at a magic shop a while ago. Actually, its quite simple. You don't have to make a card levitate, you can do a piece of paper, maybe a light coin, pretty much anything that doesnt way too much. You have a piece of tape behind your ear and a piece of invisible string taped to it. Then you take a piece of wax and stick it to the other end of the invisible string, then you attach the thing you want to levetate to the wax. Simple, eh?

Tape a piece of nylon string to the back of your ear and connect it to the card with wax. there you go, save yourself 30 bucks.
