right ive followed yr tute to the letter and yes my room went sideways too, but i have another prob none of my nodes seem to work as in i cannot move to them and says the room is locked, some one pls help im new to sketchup and this is driving me crazy

@trikeboy2 how do you put imvu into sketchup?...like how do you connect them?

Oh, just noticed... @ Gracie, if you do as the vid says, and do not hit anything, and type your number, it will show it in the lower right corner.

GREAT Tut :) However, I have to say the nodes used here are no longer working. You have to use the ones in MeshOut. Other than that, using this I made my first room yesterday. THANKS SOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

12:35 How do you hit /+number, whatever it is? And where do you hit it? I tried that on SketchUp 8 Pro but it didn't work out.

my room just passed peer review and i have 2 problems... i only put nodes on 1 wall because i was going to delete it from the shop anyway but on that wall the texture where there is a node the texture is there but in between them it fades out to black and im not sure why? also i wanted to have it as an open room but when i try putting furniture in it says its a locked room but i didnt click on locked room? please help

1. Hmm, not sure about that one. I would need to see pics of the error to understand clearly. I would recommend you post in the group page I linked in this video for help.
2. imvu seems to default to locked room for some reason. You need to find the open room heading on the drop down list then choose your room. Your room won't be locked though, it is just the category. Locked rooms don't have any furniture nodes in the (please correct me if I'm wrong).

@Trikeboy2 yeah wasn't sure about how to explain the wall problem lol ill post it on the forum in the group and if i get it sorted ill try to make my room open

ok, If you look at 38:38 in the vid you see me delete the opacity map on Texture 01. That will solve the problem you are having. I have added a note on the video to highlight that part. Sorry I rushed that part.
