anti seize on the threads will cause them to be lubricated and may not tighten down correctly please never do that.

I never had to replace my EGR valve on my trucks and my toyota truck has 350,000. Mother of fact I never had to replace the EGR valve on any of my cars and trucks.

I've watched quite a few of these instructional videos addressing many different areas of the standard car engine, I've found that if I had replaced all the parts each video has recommended at the time they recommend to do so, I would have an new engine in my car on average every 50:000 miles.

Start with a cool engine..... yeah explain to customers why they have to get a ride home and to work..

replace every 30k your joking right? if thats the case then why dont manufacturers suggest this? also why dont they change it when the car is serviced by a dealership?
the piice on these parts is not cheap!
