Instructions for Home Nebulizer
Your doctor has prescribed medication treatments for you while at home. These treatments will deliver
medications to your airways and lungs. It is important to take these treatments as prescribed to maximize
the effectiveness of the medication.

Equipment Preparation

Wash your hands with warm water and soap before proceeding.
Place the machine on a level surface close to where you will be
comfortably seated.
Plug the power cord into a grounded 115 bold household outlet.
Attach the supply tubing firmly to the outlet on the compressor.
Attach the other end of the supply tubing, firmly to the medication nebulizer.
Place the prescribed amount of medication into the nebulizer cup.
Make sure you measure the medication exactly as instructed.
Close the medication nebulizer. Make sure there are no leaks.
Attach the mask or mouthpiece to the outlet of the medication nebulizer.
Treatment Administration

Turn on the power switch.
As the unit powers up, a mist is created by the medication nebulizer.
Insert the mouthpiece into your mouth and take a slow deep breath.
Hold the breath for 1-2 seconds before exhaling slowly.
This allows the maximum amount medication to be deposited into the lungs and airways.
Repeat the process until all of the medication is nebulized.
Gently tap or shake the nebulizer periodically during the treatment to keep the medication
in the bottom of the nebulizer.
The treatment should last between 10 and 20 minutes, depending on the volume
of the medication.
When the Treatment if Finished

On the compressor, turn the power switch off.
Disconnect the supply tubing from the medication nebulizer.
Rinse out the nebulizer in a clean bag until the next treatment.
After the last treatment of the day, take the medication nebulizer apart and clean
it according to the directions. Let dry on the clean paper towel.

  • I HATE BREATHING TREATMENTS!!! Unfortunately I am taking one now as I am a kid and I use albuterol sulfate. I have HORRIBLE ATHSMA!!! is your packaging saying that it is 0.083%?

  • THE MASK IS DEFINITELY UNCOMFORTABLE BUT LIKE ME I HAVE NASAL BREATHING ISSUES AS WELL AND WHEN I USE THE MASK IT OPENS UP MY NASAL PASSAGES AS WELL AS HELPING WITH THE REGULAR ASTHMA SYMPTOMS. AND DIIDNT YOU SAY YOU USE ALBUTEROL? IF YES THAN YOU DO USE STEROIDS CUX ALBUTEROL IS A STEROID THAT IS UDE AS A BRONCHIAL DIALATOR.

  • great vid hon. Have you looked into using colloidal silver in your nebulizer? It shows you how to make it here on youtube. Do look up the benefits of colloidal silver. If I get an abcess i drink it and it goes away. My arthritus has disapeared. So has my acid reflux. I was nearly throwing up it was so bad. I won't take shots at all, they are poison.
