From a single screen video installation, 12 mins

As a documentary set in the future 'Pyramid' records an hallucinatory ritual that a town performs to lift a curse created accidentally by an architectural form of four inverted pyramids. The pyramids need acknowledging; building out of a fantastic material, then inverting so that they point skyward, then celebrating this through a concert in the concert hall above, and then destroying it all, dragging the pyramids' remains out to sea so that nothing is left. Chodzko explores in Pyramid the making of something out of nothing and the possible catalysing of a myth for a community.

Adam Chodzko is a contemporary multi-media artist, exhibiting internationally. www.adamchodzko.com. His art explores the interactions of human behaviour. Using a wide variety of media - from video to performance to fly-posters to drawing - his work explores a collective wondering: how can we engage with the existence of others? How else might we relate? And what reality emerges from the search for this knowledge?
