  • 14 parts of smaller and smaller length..

    never getting anywhere..

    fits my impression of blender

  • *sigh* it's a shame you were only looking to confirm your pre-conceptions about Blender rather than look at what people are doing with it.

  • hey not to be rude or stupid but i was like.... why not just use a round rock instead of a complicated canyon type rock to demostrate tarrain making, but this is more of a prop then the actual terrian

  • cont...

Yes, it's an "object" but the method can be applied to anything terrain related really; I've just been doing some terrain tests using the same 'lofting' technique and it works very well.

  • @Quake3Bits you should not teach something that has no "something" ... please ... we all know it's "the way" that matters, but if you don't have a "goal", "the way" its pointless

  • It's the method you need to watch rather then the end result per say. The main point was to do a fairly large object that wasn't too complicated (this had 'undercuts' and 'negative' shapes) rather than the typical terrain 'object', people do need a gentle push to make them think about what they're doing!. Doing that gets people to explore the possibilty of *not* using spheres.
