This is the Montage Beverly Hills. It's got all the amenities that you'd expect in a swanky L.A. hotel but it's also equipped with a Control4 system in every room which means when you stay here, you got the power of personalization at the touch of a button.

They use the remote control and it's a very simple system to use to create the system that they want, to create the atmosphere that they want... from temperature to wake up calls to all sorts of services within the hotel. You can actually set your television to go on at a certain time, to a certain channel, at a certain level. The drapes can open. The sheers can open. You can do the do not disturb right next to your bed so that as you're falling asleep, all you have to do is remember to lean over and hit the button.

Next to the windows you'll see the drapes and the sheers are very easily controlled which is great for the guests but it is also great for our housekeeping department. The guest experience was much more physical in the beginning. It was getting up from the bed and closing your drapes. It was getting up to put the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door. Those things don't have to happen anymore and we've actually have had feedback on guests saying, "We love the technology that you have in the hotel." It's different.
