Is it still fun travelling to costa rica in july, with all the rain? I mean are these just showers or does it actually rain day in day out...? And how are temperatures?

We've gone there late June / early July for 2 weeks at a time for the past 7 years. Temperatures on the coast are in the 80s, in the mountain valleys in the 70s. Rainstorms like these occur almost every day (on the coast), but they last for 1-2 hours at most. However, you'd be amazed at how much rain can come down in such a short time. Plus, there are no crowds. We love it!
